Mini Ritual Gong

The ritual gong is one of the oldest instruments in Chinese ceremonial practice — struck to mark transitions, open and close ritual space, and clear accumulated energy from an environment. The resonance of a struck metal bowl moves through a space differently than any other sound: the vibration is physical, felt as much as heard, and it decays slowly, carrying with it the energy of whatever occupied the space before.

Used to open meditation sessions, mark the beginning and end of ritual practice, clear a room before feng shui adjustments, or simply to punctuate the day with a moment of sonic stillness.
